Silk Care Instructions
To preserve the beauty and longevity of your mulberry silk, follow these gentle care steps:
1. Hand Wash or Dry Clean Only
For best results, hand wash in cold water with a mild, silk-friendly detergent. Alternatively, opt for eco-friendly dry cleaning.
2. Use Gentle Detergents
Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, or harsh chemicals. Choose a pH-neutral liquid detergent formulated for silk.
3. Avoid Soaking
Do not soak silk for long periods. Gently swirl and rinse promptly to protect the fibers.
4. Dry with Care
Do not wring. Lay flat on a clean towel and roll to remove excess water. Then air dry in the shade—never tumble dry or expose to direct sunlight.
5. Iron on Low Heat
If needed, iron on the reverse side with the lowest setting while the silk is slightly damp. Use a pressing cloth to avoid shine.
6. Store with Love
Keep in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Use breathable fabric garment bags and avoid hanging heavy pieces to prevent stretching.
